With the current COVID-19 pandemic, the future of movie theatres is uncertain. AMC has publicly stated they are not sure if they can stay in business. That being said, let’s dive into the theatre options here in Wichita. Currently the main two movie theatres players in town are AMC and Regal. There is a good chance you are more familiar by their former owner names Northrock Theatres and Warren Theaters.

There are a lot of different options in Wichita, Kansas. To name a few of the big ones: VASA, Genesis Health Clubs, Planet Fitness, YMCA. And then there are boutique fitness centers like Pure Barre, Orange Theory Fitness, and so forth. We also have our fair share of mom and pop or CrossFit gyms. Personally, I’ve always been a fan of the YMCAs. Sometimes they are really busy, but I like to go in the AM’s and it is typically pretty reasonable.

This past weekend, my wife, baby girl and I decided to take a step into the past and visit Cowtown in Wichita. We went on a Sunday (which is currently free to enter! Typically it costs $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, $7 for youth (12-17), $6 for Kids (5-11) and free for kids 4 and under.)
