Wichita School Update
As COVID continues to rise, USD 259 Middle School and High schools will remain Remote-Only after the Board reversed their decision last night. The board wanted to send kids back into school, but with the COVID numbers increasing, they didn’t want to risk it.
Thrive Restaurant Group continues to grow
The investors behind Peace Love & Pie and HomeGrown continue to expand their portfolio which now includes 16 Carlos O’Kelly’s, and 81 Applebee’s.
License plate readers in high-crime areas of Wichita will take photos of your vehicle
Wichita is going to utilize license plate readers in high crime ares more.
City of Wichita Launches Public Artist Registry
The Wichita Division of Arts and Cultural Services has launched a public artist registry page to support artists.

Spirit AeroSystems stock jumps as aerospace stocks shoot up on vaccine news

Although Netflix killed Blockbuster, Family Video helps bring the nostalgia. Unfortunately Wichita just lost one of their locations to COVID-19.
