Wichita has a number of official teams. The Wichita Wind Surge, Wichita Wings, Wichita Thunder, Wichita Force.
On Tuesday, April 13th, The Wichita Wolves were named the Official Esports team of Wichita.
You might find it surprising that we even have an esports team, but esports is one of the fastest growing sectors in sports today. There are many of the big name teams that sell out arenas meant for more traditional sports.
Who are the Wichita Wolves?

Wichita Wolves Esports is an “amateur competing and professionally structured organization”.
According to Reese, the team has placed in the top 3 of competitions 43 times and won 25 championships since 2020.
