This is huge when it comes to meeting someone in person to exchange goods. It can still be dangerous, but you should feel a little safer than craigslist knowing that Facebook does require people to have operated a Facebook account for more than a day to discourage people from creating additional accounts to scam people. Another benefit to the marketplace is that it learns what you are looking for. If you search that you’re looking for a set of weights for fitness, it will recommend other weights for sale or other fitness equipment for sale. This can get annoying if you searched something on a whim, but it can also prove helpful to find deals.

Facebook Buy and Sell Groups in Wichita, Kansas
Facebook groups take the Facebook marketplace to the next level. Although it does not learn your behaviors like the Facebook marketplace, it allows you to build a community of trusted places. My wife and I have used these facebook groups and we are much more comfortable with someone from this group coming by home than someone from craigslist or even the marketplace. These people typically have many mutual friends with us and that just grows on itself to building a bigger community to trade, exchange, buy, and sell quality items.
