School’s out! What kid isn’t excited to hit the pool? We have compiled a list of water activities that can help celebrate summer.

Wichita Splash Pads

If a splash pad is what you’re looking for, Wichita has many options. All of them opened on Memorial Day. They are:

  • Edgemoor Park, 5813 E 9th St, 10:00 am-8:00 pm

  • Fairmount Park, 1647 N Yale, 10:00 am-8:00 pm
  • Lincoln Park, 1323 S Topeka, 10:00 am-8:00 pm

  • Old Town Plaza, 301 N Mead, 10:00 am-8:00 pm
  • Osage Park, 2121 W 31st St, 10:00 am-8:00 pm

Wichita Pools

If a pool is more your thing, check out any of the YMCAs in the greater Wichita area. If you’re not a member, you can do a daily pass. Youth are $5.00, Adults are $10.00 and families are $15.00. A great option for visitors! There are also public pools that you can utilize. They are:

  • Aley, 1800 S Seneca
  • College Hill, 304 Circle Dr
  • Harvest, 9500 W Provincial
  • McAfee, 1240 E 14th St N
  • Minisa, 1350 N Jeanette
  • Orchard, 1062 N Clara

Daily admission rates are: $2.00 for children 17 and under, $3.00 for adults, and $8 for families (6 people, 1 must be an adult).

There are also pools that require a membership. These are scattered throughout Wichita. If you are interested, please check for rates and restrictions.
