Look no further, here is a short list of sunflower fields near Wichita, Kansas:
Klausmeyer Farm and Pumpkin Patch
Location: 8135 South 119th St W, Clearwater, Ks 67026 – About 25 minutes from Wichita
Cost: $5 to visit the farm and sunflower field, $2 to visit the sunflower field.
Best Time to Visit: Late July
Klausmeyer Farm is one of the most frequented sunflower fields because it is not only beautiful, but relatively close to Wichita. Make sure you check it out for your annual visit to the pumpkin patch as well!
Walters Sunflower Field
Location: 10001 NW Us Highway 77, El Dorado, KS 67042 – about 20-25 minutes from Wichita
Cost: $10
Best Time to Visit: Late Summer / Early Fall
Walter’s is probably our favorite pumpkin patch! They even host beautiful weddings.
Grinter Farms
Location: 24154 Stillwell Rd, Lawrence, KS 66044 – about 2.5 hours from Wichita

Kansas Maze / Gaeddert Farms Sunflower Field
Location: 13209 E. 82nd Ave, Buhler, Ks 67522 – About 50 minutes from Wichita
Cost: $7 per person
Best Time to Visit: Late August / Early September
Peterson Bros. Sunflower Field / Sunflower Trails – Near Coronado Heights.
Location: 2951 13th Ave. Lindsborg, KS 67456 – About 1 hour from Wichita
Cost: $5 per person or $10 per family
Best Time to Visit: Late August / Early September
Make sure you check the social media for each farm individually so you can find the best time to visit! Sunflowers typically bloom in Kansas in late summer/early fall (some right at the end of July.)
