School Starts Back Up

School is back in session for most schools. There was a scheduled delay in the start of school until after Labor Day and that day has arrived. Many schools are online or hybrid.

Eisenhower Airport Traffic Picks Up

Many people have avoided flying for the last 6 months or so due to COVID-19. The traffic at the Wichita airport picked up over the weekend and posted the highest volume of travelers since the pandemic began with 6000 travelers flying through Wichita over the holiday weekend.

The City of Wichita Needs Your Feedback on Downtown Streets

The City of Wichita is asking for feedback and input for downtown Wichita Streets. The City is trying to improve downtown streets to become more vibrant, safer, and healthier, but wants your feedback. Go to Wichita.gov/downtownstreets to have your voice heard.

Sedgwick County Continues Covid-19 Testing – Now using a Saliva- Based Test

Sedgwick County is still offering drive-through location and mobile site testing. Now using a saliva based test, they have a goal of 2400 tests per day.
