BigShots is still coming to Wichita

BigShots, the Top Golf competitor, losed on their 22 acre site where the driving range will go in at 29th and Greenwich. Keep in mind this is just 2 miles away from the recently announced TopGolf which will be at 13th and Greenwich.

Torchy’s Tacos Opening in Wichita Kansas

Many people are excited for the opening of Torchy’s Tacos this week. I personally haven’t had it yet, but people have really been talking up this taco chain out of Austin, Texas.

Wichita Schools Offer Food and Vaccination Assistance While Needing Help with Internet Access

Wichita Public Schools are offering food for pickup for local families. Between 5-6PM on Thursday at 12 different locations, five breakfasts and five lunches can be picked up. The Sedgwick County Health Department is offering back-to-school vaccinations as well.

Wichita Public Schools do need help to “Close the homework gap” and are asking for donations to help students meet their computer and wifi needs to complete school work.

Greater Wichita YMCA offers pilot program for high school freshmen learning remotely

For high school freshman learning remotely, the Greater Wichita YMCA has a great offer. This is a free program called Fresh Connect which begins September 21. It takes places week day from 8am to 4pm. Students will have free wifi, tutoring, as well as social and physically activity.
