Save Century II Petition is “Invalid” Judge Rules

As we’ve mentioned on past episodes, a petition with more than 17,000 signatures calling for a “binding” election for Century II has been ruled invalid. One reason that this petition has been set aside is because the language was too broad. There is still a plan for an advisory election before Century II is demolished, but it would not be binding in this case.

Wichita School Board to Review the Cancellation of Fall Sports on Tuesday

This is after many protests and others calling for them to reconsider. We will have a follow up next week.
