Wichita and Derby Not named as finalist for Space Command

Wichita hoped to become the HQ for Space Command, but it was not named one of six finalists which included New Mexico, Nebraska, Florida, Colorado, Texas and Alabama.

Wichita State students hope to be part of the next NASA trip to the moon. 8 students are participating in a NASA SUITS challenge where they design and create space suit information displays within an augmented reality.

Wichita State forced to withdraw from first game of the season

Wichita State Shockers mens basketball team was set to compete in South Dakota on Wednesday. After landing, they were tested and had multiple positive tests within the team travel party and had to withdraw from the tournament.
