The Greens at Terradyne – Andover, Kansas

Review by Fert The Foodie

Did you know that you don’t need a membership to dine at The Greens at Terradyne?

It’s open to regular Joes like me, so I stopped in for lunch today. The restaurant portion of the country club is absolutely stunning, I felt a little out of place with my work clothes on. Thankfully, they did not treat me like an outsider, the service I received was just as outstanding as what the members of the country club were getting.

The menu has everything from $40 steaks to $10 sandwiches, and plenty of items in between. The lady taking care of me told me her favorite dish is the Shrimp Pasta. When I saw “smoked gouda cream sauce” in the description, I was sold. I LOVE smoked gouda! Even though it’s a creamy cheese sauce, I would not consider this a mac & cheese because it was mainly a cream sauce with a nice smoked gouda flavor instead of being mainly a cheese sauce like with mac & cheese. The shrimp were huge, and there were some sun dried tomatoes too to add a little tomato flavor in there. Simply a delicious and well balanced dish.

I was told that they just got a new head chef, so they will be coming out with an updated menu toward the end of the month. I will definitely go back to check that out.
