One of the most frequent messages I receive from our readers is that they can’t read the stories that I link to.
This is because they are from the Wichita Eagle which not everyone subscribes to. I understand the frustration, but that’s still where I get a lot of information and therefore need to link to.
BUT..
I have good news. You can read the Wichita Eagle for FREE with your FREE Wichita Public Libary Card.
That’s right, all you have to do is:
- Go to NewsBank and enter your library card number. If you don’t have a library card, get one. They’re free.
- There are blue links in a column on the right, click on “Wichita Eagle collection.”
- That lands you on a page with a few choices. Click on the one that says “Image” under the “format” heading.
- Select the date of the issue that you want to view. (For instance, today’s issue,July 28th, is available.)
