Add it to the list of cancelled events and activities due to COVID-19.
For the first time in 106 consecutive years, the Kansas State Fair is cancelled. The fair which is hosted annually in Hutchinson, Kansas was voted unanimously by the Kansas State Fair Board to no longer take place.
This flips the script from how the board voted last week. This comes in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases nationally and locally. We have been seeing record numbers in Sedgwick County and across America.
