Join Mark Arts, the Wichita Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum for a festive celebration of winter with art, music, and storytelling! Enjoy a special story time reading by Samantha from the Wicht Sedgwick County Historical Museum, featuring the beloved classic A Time to Keep by Tasha Tudor. This heartwarming story brings the holiday traditions of yesteryear to life. Then, get creative with hands-on art projects, paper snowflakes and paper mosaic candles, while listening to live music from quartets of the Wichita Youth Symphony Orchestra. We’ll also welcome a very special guest – Santa Claus—Who will be available for free visits and photo opportunities. The festivities will conclude with a performance excerpt from the Wichita Youth Symphony Orchestra’s annual Spirit of the Season program.
