We know that woman power put into action can effect change! Get involved in local issues and advocate for fellow Kansans who need access to healthcare! Gather with nonpartisan groups for a postcard writing event at Wichita Advanced Learning Library, 711 W. 2nd St. to work on bringing the stalled Medicaid (KanCare) Expansion bill to the floor and to a vote. Join us March 12 from 6-8 pm at the Wichita library to hear about this important issue and write postcards to legislators and state leaders. Those coming include the League of Women Voters of Wichita Metra, the Alliance for a Healthy Kansas, Women for Kansas and Finishing School for Modern Women and Badass Women of Wichita Alliance.
