New Blue Roof Celebration

Family and friends are invited to a free public event to celebrate the new roof’s completion at Century II! A panel of Modernist architecture experts will speak during this event, and there will be cookies and refreshments. RSVP here, prior to the event.

The keynote speaker is “Mr. Modernism” George Smart from North Carolina. He is one of the few to be bestowed an Honorary AIA by the American Institute of Architects. George Smart is CEO and founder of USModernist®, the world’s largest nonprofit educational archive dedicated to the documentation, preservation, and promotion of Modernist residential design. A passionate advocate for Modernism, George is one of the nation’s leaders in raising awareness preserving this important architectural movement.
