NAMI Wichita’s annual Candlelight Service, held in honor of Mental Illness Awareness Week will take place on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the WSU Metroplex from 6 to 8 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. for attendees to explore over 30 mental health resource tables and engage with community partners in one place.
The evening will feature two distinguished keynote speakers: Wichita Mayor Lily Wu and Dr. Larry Mitnaul, a double board-certified psychiatrist specializing in youth and young adult mental health.
