Freedom 5K Run

Come join us as we run wild through the streets of Cowtown! This fun 5K will take you through Wichita’s wild west, along the Museum District, and along the Arkansas River. The course is open for runners seeking a personal best while offering enough eye appeal for those looking for a nice stroll with the family. All participants will receive a participation medal. Awards will also be given by age group and gender.Additional recognition will be given to runners beating our “Broncos” to the finish line. Each Broncos represents an Old Cowtown gang. If you beat the bronco across the finish line, you’re faster than an iron horse. Broncos will run the 5K at 20, 25, 30, and 35 minutes (give or take). If you outrun a bronco you will receive a slider medal to attach to your participation award. These medals are beautiful and will truly be a showpiece to your running collection.
Registration: $30 (w/o t-shirt) $45 (with commemorative t-shirt), $10 for Lil Buckaroos
