Shark Tank: Wichita
Tonight at 7PM on ABC, 3 Wichita friends (Tyler Kessler, Jeff Dakin, and Matt Hosey) aka the “Side Hustle Homies” will debut on Shark Tank tonight where they will pitch “The Scrubbie” (a sponge attachment that hooks onto kitchen sink sprayers, pull-down kitchen faucets and garden hoses).
Back to the Future Movies
The northwest Wichita Warren Theatre (yes the one with the fancy IMAX) reopens tonight. The Warren has been closed since early October.

Transgender Bill Vetoed
A bill that would ban transgender athletes from playing on girl / women sports teams was vetoed by Governor Laura Kelly yesterday.

High School Graduation
Wichita high schools will have in-person graduations this year.
USDA Extends Free meals to students through 2022 School year
One in four Kansas kids is ‘food insecure’. The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture has extended the Child Nutrition Program waivers through 2022. This includes the Seamless Sumer Option which gives free meals to children between regular school year and out-of-school times.

New Semi-Pro Basketball Team in Wichita
The Midtown Prestige are Wichita’s new semi-pro basketball team. They play their games at Charles Koch Arena. They are the 23rd team to join ‘The Basketball League.
